Since its founding in 1950, Exportfonds supports Austrian small and medium-sized companies by financing their exports. Exportfonds provides funding for export transactions and (only outside the EU) for market development projects.

Its owners are OeKB AG (with a 70% interest) and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (30%).
