Certified by EMAS
Documentation was provided for the first time in 2001. The EMAS-certified environmental management system introduced at the time clearly defined all procedures and responsibilities in our company with regard to the environment. It was already evident by then that we intended to build up a comprehensive sustainability management on the basis of experience gathered from environmental management.
Reporting progress
OeKB's first sustainability report is the result of the continuous strengthening of our focus on the environment. By publishing this report, we are obliging ourselves to give careful consideration to the economic, environmental and social impact of our business activities both with regard to our planning and to our actions.
The sustainability report also meets the criteria of the EMAS Regulation, and provides an overview of the strategy, objectives and activities of the OeKB in connection with sustainability.
