Austrian Government Bonds are usually issued employing the electronic auction system with Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG acting as Auction Agent of the Republic of Austria. Furthermore OeKB acts as paying agent.
The most important Austrian issuer of Euro debt securities in the market is the Republic of Austria. Austrian government bonds having a AAA-rating are representing the most liquid market issues.
The entire auction procedure is carried out electronically since 1998 by means of ADAS (Austrian Direct Auction System), the auction software developed by OeKB (https://adas.oekb.at).
