Scope of financial clearing by OeKB

This is done on the basis of the green power allocated to and purchased from the electricity traders, the network operators’ flat fee per metering point and the rates payable to the generators of the green electricity.
OeKB also clears and settles the payments monitors payment receipts and provides collection of overdue liabilities.
Types of clearing
Four types of financial clearing are provided:
-
Clearing for power traders
The electricity trader clearing is carried out on the first working day of every month, for the preceding month. It involves the clearing, based on the official tariffs, for the green electricity allocated to and purchased by the power traders.
-
Clearing for network operators
The clearing for network operators is carried out on the first working day of every month, for the preceding month. Since the beginning of January 2007 the network operators collect an officially set, flat fee per metering point (the "Zählpunktpauschale"). This calculated flat fee is set by OeMAG and is binding on the network operators.
The clearing for electricity generators is performed at the end of every calendar month. All generators of green power that have a valid contract with OeMAG are credited for this electricity by OeMAG on a monthly basis. For smaller facilities that are metered only once per year, the clearing is done annually.Clearing for generators
OeMAG conducts a one-off clearing in the event of delayed data delivery, or for data correction, or in the case of advance clearing.
