Large projects of exporters are often complex and involve the need to share risks. Therefore they are increasingly carried out collaboratively by sourcing goods and services from multiple countries. The rising number of such multi-source projects requires growing co-operation between export credit agencies (ECAs).
The conclusion of agreements on cooperation between individual ECAs or between ECAs and international financial institutions (IFIs) serve to intensify co-operation between Austrian and foreign exporters that are working together in third countries and aim to simplify the structuring of export financing.
OeKB already has master agreements with institutions from over 20 countries and more are being negotiated
