Since 28 June 2010 the portal, which provides central access to all European Fund Processing Passports (FPPs) is available at the EFAMA website.
The Fund Processing Passport (FPP) is a web-based, fully harmonised pan-European document that contains all the essential operational information about a fund. This "passport" was developed by a working group of EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association).
OeKB collects FPP data for Austrian fund companies
In Austria, OeKB is responsible for collecting the data for the Fund Processing Passports (FPPs) and disseminating the FPP itself. This service for investment fund companies is provided by OeKB since 2009 and the data is available at Profitweb.
Central access to all European FPPs
Together with the five so-called Primary Providers (Finesti, France FPP (AFG), Fund Connect, KNEIP, OeKB and WM Data Service), EFAMA has worked on a central access to all existing, European FPPs in the past few months. The resulting portal is available on the website of EFAMA since a few days. This portal supports one of EFAMA's main goals - realising an efficient European single market for investment funds.
