Changes in Tied Aid Eligibility
According to the World Bank country classification Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Dominican Republic, Macedonia, Namibia and Peru have lost their tied aid eligibility as from 29 July 2010.
For each of the four last-mentioned countries the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance has made a general notification on 23 July 2010 because of the huge amount of potential projects in these countries. This makes sure that appropriate individual projects can be notified until July 2011 via application by the Austrian export industry. If these projects are implemented until July 2013 they can be financed on concessional terms. For further details please contact OeKB’s Credit Department.
