The traditional Practitioners’ dinner, hosted by OeKB, will be held at the restaurant Heuriger Gigerl, located in the heart of Vienna.The restaurant is within walking distance of the conference venue.

Guided tour through the Botanical Garden
On Wednesday, there will be a guided tour of the Botanical Garden of the University of Vienna with the director, Krissa Skogen, and her biodiversity experts.

You will need to make your own way there from the hotel, either by public transport (tram lines O or 71, or the S-Bahn, stop “Rennweg”) or by taxi. The garden is around 2 km from the city center, making for a pleasant walk if you like.
Start: One group will start the tour at 9:30 a.m. and the other one at 11:00 a.m. (You selected your preferred group during the registration process)
The official programme will end after the tour of the Botanical Garden.

Belvedere
The Botanical Garden has a direct entrance to the beautiful grounds of the Belvedere. Following the end of the official programme, you can visit the Belvedere at your leisure, enjoy the great view of Vienna or go to a café.

Alternative programme - in case of strong wind or rain
In case of strong wind or rain, the Botanical Garden tour will be cancelled and replaced by a visit to the Albertina Museum. The guided tour will start at 10 a.m.
