As the development bank of the Republic of Austria, Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank (OeEB) offers tailor-made financial solutions for private-sector projects in developing countries which are economically sustainable and have positive impacts on development. Projects that are not economically viable but contribute to sustainable development in selected countries are refinanced by the OeKB under soft loan terms.

Investment financing in developing countries

The OeEB issues long-term loans at near-market conditions for projects of private companies that make developmental and economic sense.

Equity Participations in developing and emerging countries

The OeEB participates in funds and companies that contribute to economic growth, acting as trustee for the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance.

In order to strengthen the development effects of our projects, the OeEB provides funds for project-supporting measures, such as studies and the build-up of competencies.
