Located in the centre of Vienna’s old town, the Reitersaal in the OeKB building offers a stylish backdrop for your event. A monumental sculpture by Dominik Fernkorn and a ceiling made of 14,600 separate panes of glass and completely refurbished gives the hall a very unique atmosphere.

A Hall with a history
The Reitersaal in the OeKB building on Strauchgasse was originally the inner courtyard of the Montenuovo Palace featuring the Georgsbrunnen by the famous sculptor Anton Dominik Fernkorn. In 1871 the Anglo-Österreichische Bank purchased the building and had the inner courtyard covered with 14,600 separate panes of glass so that it could be used as a bank hall.
At the beginning of the 1990s, the current owner of the hall, OeKB, had the glass ceiling completely refurbished true to the original design. A horizontal dimming system allows the hall to be used no matter the time of day.

EcoEvents
We also pay attention to a sustainable, environmentally friendly approach when organising our events. If possible, the OeKB KI-Group organises events as EcoEvents.
EcoEvent is a format of the City of Vienna that supports organisers in creating events in an environmentally friendly way avoiding waste and emissions. With the label EcoEvent, guests can see that a celebration, a meeting, or a large event is environmentally friendly.
If you would like to organise your event in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way, please inform yourself at the EcoEvent Website or contact the EcoEvent Advisory Service of the City of Vienna
