The recently signed agreement should further promote the for a long time existing close relationship between Austria and Indonesia. The total framework of EUR 500 million serves to finance projects in the public sector which contribute significantly to the national development strategy of Indonesia.

The support of projects in the fields of infrastructure, social, environment, climate protection and health should enable sustainable economic growth. OeKB was closely involved in the negotiations and plays an important role as a refinancing partner of those banks that provide loans.
