On Austrian public holidays, our Service Center Account Information and Payments are not filled. Therefore, on Austrian public holidays only STP-eligible EURO payments – in SWIFT MT202 and MT103 format – will be processed.

SEPA payments on Austrian public holidays

OeKB does not process SEPA payments on Austrian public holidays, as not all institutions make full payment transactions available on public holidays. On bank holidays, neither payments with valuta nor data carriers (that arrive on the holiday) are processed.

Non-cash days

Non-cash days include only the TARGET closing days:

  • 1st January - New Year
  • Easter - Good Friday
  • Easter - Easter Monday
  • May 1 - national holiday
  • December 25 - Christday
  • December 26 – Boxing Day
