S&P Global Ratings revises OeKB´s Outlook from stable to positive

On February 25, S&P Global Ratings revised the outlook for the Republic of Austria from AA+ stable to AA+ positive.

On March 1, OKB's rating outlook was equalized with the rating outlook of the Republic and was also changed from stable to positive. This is due to the fact, that OKB “benefits from an almost certain likelihood of extraordinary government support from the Austrian government…”

This change is based on S&P's assumption that “the country will make a faster and stronger recovery from the economic and fiscal impact of the pandemic”.
