In March 2022 our Sustainable Financing Framework was successfully updated to reflect the longstanding commitment to sustainable development in Austria and internationally.
OeKB Sustainable Financing Framework expanded by two new categories
Our framework was first unveiled in September 2019 and has been expanded by integrating further categories and reflecting further developments in the sustainable bond market. With the two new categories Green Buildings and Circular Economy and a stronger alignment with the EU Taxonomy for sustainable activities, the framework remains the centrepiece of our Sustainable Bond program.
Together with the updated Sustainable Financing Framework, the new Second Party Opinion, issued by the ESG Rating Agency Sustainalytics, confirms our framework to be credible, impactful and aligned with the ICMA Sustainable Bond Standards.
